Christmas is in 2 days. O M Gosh! I am so very excited about this years Christmas as it’s my little guys first Christmas and I’m hosting brunch and dinner. Last week I shared our Christmas breakfast recipe and today I’m sharing our Christmas day white hot chocolate recipe. Here in Florida we might not have the coldest of temperatures, but that won’t stop my family from enjoying hot chocolate while we reminisce.
Inspired by the new hot chocolate line offered by International Delight I created a creamy white hot chocolate sip that is a holiday and winter season must try. Grab all the details below!
I am overly excited about the new International Delight items: Original Nog, Vanilla Nog, Milk Hot Chocolate and Dark Hot Chocolate. I mean seriously; It’s impossible to not get into the holiday season with these options! Head here to find a store where you can purchase these options.
Be sure to head to here to share how International Delight helps you capture the season with their fantastic flavors and enter to win a brunch hosted by International Delight. Did someone say brunch? You’ll also spot a fun video where International Delight turned one of our nearby towns into a winter wonderland. Yep, International Delight made it snow here in sunny Florida! So very cool.
Now let’s whip up some homemade creamy white hot chocolate.
2 cups of half and half
1/2 cup of white chocolate chips (mini chips are ideal)
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 cinnamon stick
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon
In a saucepan combine half and half, white chocolate chips, cinnamon stick, nutmeg and cinnamon. Stir on low to medium heat until white chocolate chips are melted completely. Stir in 1 tsp of vanilla. Remove cinnamon stick. Pour into serving glass or mugs. Garnish with whipped topping or marshmallows and a dash of cinnamon.
