And there’s nothing you and I won’t do.
I’ll stop the world and melt with you.
The future’s open wide.
You’ll be humming Modern English the entire day. My Valentine’s Day gift to you. You’re welcome.
I teamed up with my favorite graphic designer, Michele of Brave Creative Design, to share these stylish Valentine’s Day melt with you cookies & FREE printable. Working with Michele is always a piece of cake. I suggested the 80s hit song lyric and she suggested watercolor- um… printable match made in heaven! An over-sized Valentine’s Day gift tag is something we can all appreciate so that’s exactly what we went for. There’s no room for small gift tags with such bold lyrics.
Let’s get down to the melt with you cookie business (or as I pronounce it, biznas).
Whip up a batch of your favorite sugar cookies or buy them from the store (no judgement here). Be sure to have semi sweet chocolate chips on hand. Drizzle melted chocolate across the sugar cookies and top with Valentine’s themed sprinkles. This is the messy part we all enjoy, right? I found pieces of melted chocolate all over my hands and arms after I was done. Anywho, allow the cookies to dry. I placed mine in the fridge for several hours.
After allowing your melt with you cookies to dry start you fancy packaging. If you’re treating your special someone and just want to leave them displayed on a large plate or platter use the over-sized gift tag as a card and write a sweet little note on the back. I used heart paperclips to close the gift bags, but clothes pins, washi tape and almost anything else goes. Be sure to head over to Michele’s blog to download the watercolor printable. We can’t wait to see how you use the rad Valentine’s Day printable!
