When the Holiday’s begin to approach I get all hostess with the mostess (or co-hostess) party planning crazy… after all entertaining guests is my fave. I enjoy getting together with my favorite ladies to discuss menu planning and traditional recipe favorites in preparations for our annual Friendsgiving feast. This year, we’ve teamed up with West Elm to help kick start our planning!
It’s a tradition to be one of three co-hosts for our Friendsgiving festivities. My friends and I are a ball of fun and show off our dance moves on the regular but we also enjoy a calm sit down moment with a warm cup of coffee to begin menu planning. Each of us make our specialty dishes and one of us try’s out a new dessert, it’s a tradition of Holiday favorite recipes mixed with a new one we are all anxious to taste test.
We enjoy quality time with our favorite people, share what we are thankful for, enjoy yummy food, play games, sip wine and reminiscence. Everyone should celebrate Friendsgiving.
Family and friend favorite recipes we cherish, here are a few of our favorites:
I know you’re head over heals for this coffee cup tea towel and the owl mugs just as I am. You can grab these beauties over at the West Elm Market, my new go-to online shop.
Have you seen the Back in the Day Bakery Cookbook? Oh my wow. I’m a fan of desserts and southern food and this cookbook has recipe after recipe of mouth watering awesomeness. I can’t wait to create a new dessert from this gem for Friendsgiving!
